My name is Sarah Mumbua, behind the blog ‘Call Me Mumbua’. I have always been fascinated by the idea that there’s always an Oasis in the middle of a desert. I mean, I think it is so unexpected. A good amount of water in a place where the conditions are too harsh, and only where few plants and animals can exist.
As Moses led the Israelites out of the Egypt, they wandered about in the wilderness 40 years! A journey that could have only lasted a week took a whole forty years. As much as it seemed like it was a great torture on their end, God actually had them wander about in the wilderness for their own good. God used that particular time to change their mentality of bondage to that of freedom.
As much as we are not in the wilderness now, wandering about like they did, every single person has to go through some kind of wilderness to reach the ‘promised land’. Through this blog, I believe God will use me to share with you some of the greatest things he has taught me through waiting on him and trusting his timing. Trust me, waiting upon God is no easy task. But there will always be an Oasis!
we are waiting to dine listen and walk together as you help us relate. awesome stuff.
